I think it's awesome. It is probably one of the most tasteful modded '77s I've seen.
Getting back money will be tough, but people 'in the know' will appreciate the simpler midyear starting point.
Personally, as said above I'm not a fan of any gold BBSs on anything - except maybe a 1987 red VW GTI.
The market is tough on cars like this.
You'd have to find the right person, and it's much easier thanks to the internet.
I'd get it all back together and cleaned very well and put it on BaT. I wouldn't be surprised at $28-$32K - to the right person.
