Yeah, Darwinisum at its best, you can't fix stupid. She was in a restricted area, had to breach a perimeter fence and locked gates, plus the "warning, danger and restricted" signs up the wazoo. Not to mention just exactly how difficult it actually is to get access to that particular area and I will bet that she and or her family will sue stating not enough was done to keep her out. Foresthill Bridge is 730' and a beacon to base jumpers and adrenaline junkies. I am not afraid of heights but it does cause you to get that hand tingly thing thing when you stand in the middle of the span especially when the wind is howling. Its been used in several movies including the car launch scene in the action movie "XXX" A few even toss themselves over every year due to different personal reasons. Causes a lot of extra related issues for a lot of people and organizations.

I drive past it every work day on HWY 49. The confluence gets insane with visitors, hikers, kayakers, equestrian persons and mountain bikers. Always good for numerous rescues. Although is is a beautiful location to visit, especially this time of year.
