My friend Mike is a great guy, but he just put his Slant Nose Wide body Targa-converted-to-Cab on eBay and set an example of just what not to do.
1982 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet
First, he's selling a convertible. In the Spring. Good move. But not one picture of the car with the top down(!)
Second, this is a great running and driving car (I know, I had it listed for sale for him for a while) and he kinda forgot to say anything about the condition of the clutch, brakes, transmission... these are important things, especially to a distant buyer who may be deciding whether to set up a PPI. Also, no compression/leakdown numbers.
Finally, he hasn't used his eBay account for a long time, so had 0% positive feedback when he initiated the listing. It's easy to buy a couple $0.99 goodies from China for instant positive topline feedback.
