Cedar 2009 - 2017 R.I.P.
It is a sad time in our household now. Nine years ago my wife ,and I, adopted a pair of pups from a rescue home in the Midwest. As they were only 8 weeks old, the woman put them into a crate which we had them flown out to us here in Los Angeles.
About a week after they came into our home, both were sick, while our older Huskie was just fine. Off to the vet and discovered they had Parvo virus. We were both fortunate, and considerably poorer, when they both pulled through. The bad side of this was that Cedar was badly compromised for the rest of his life with ulcers, as per gillis, Kalo thorax, and terrible hip displaysia.we dealt with each challenge, and he survived all except the hip problems. He was too weak to survive a hip replacement operation, not to mention a lengthy recovery.
This dog was truly a member of our family, just like all our others (all adopted) and we will miss him. God speed
