I recall a few years ago that some GT3 owners complained of poor resale value!
Despite the bulletproof mezger, 997 GT3 prices are very dependent on mileage. Probably due to rarity.

For a driver GT3, no over revs, not tracked...miles between 20-30k and not too particular to color, I think the price for a private sale would be around 95k to 100k for a .1 and 105-115k for a .2....of course different options can move that up or down.

Disclosure; I have a 997.1 GT3 and I love it. Even at these prices the car is a bargain for the performance and the engine pedigree. Despite the 991.2 GT3 manual coming out, the 996 and 997s are still holding their value. I think they will go up in value for the same reason people wanted a manual in the 991....they wanted to go back to the car/driver immersion, despite inevitably slower track times with a manual compared to a pdk.

Even with a 991 manual I think people will still look back at the 996 and 997 GT3s as being much more of a visceral and different driving experience.

On top of that there were way less 996 and 997 GT3s made....now Porsche is pumping out more per year.
