Forget the carb dip..
Find a 20% off coupon for Harbor Freight and get their large ultrasonic cleaner. Fill with water and some aluminum safe cleaner, turn on the heater, disassemble carb. Once the cleaner is up to temp, toss everything in and run for about 30-40 minutes.
Remove, rinse and reassemble.
The ultrasonic cleaner will do a 1000x better job at cleaning than the chem dip..
