I had to open the plastic case and take out the board inside because the case was too big to fit inside the light housing, but the board only fit nicely. Alternatively, you could wire it in somewhere else without taking the case apart, but it was easier to wire with the board right in the housing.

The LED was purchased at the local autozone. Its just an LED bulb, not a PCB assy. They are definitely brighter than the stock filament bulb and drop right in to the fixture.
