If you mean "concours" type events which are predicated on some level of (usually total) originality; modifications to your car means it doesn't have a "class", it's "modified" (you may as well be upset that your lawn tractor or fishing boat can't win). There are "open" events for modified or customized cars, but I admit, the only ones I've heard of are for American hot-rods and customs not Porsches. At the few concours I've been to (for Porsches) there generally is an area for "display" cars that can't enter the competition because their modifications take them "out of class" but are of interest to the attendees. A lot of "Porsche people" are very interested in modified cars (just look at the posts on this board), but most concours are designed around original cars. Perhaps you could be instrumental in creating an event for modified cars in your area or "attaching" a modified-cars judging as an adjunct to an established local concours. Talk to your local club, there may be many others there who would like to see such an event.
