Hello,

I have a '67 912 vin 459806. How much can the vin decode past the color of the car? Can it tell me if my 912 came with foglights or is the wiring that is still there and functioning after a volt meter test. So the fog light wired are connected to the fog light switch, 'optional'. I know the swtich prob would receive a 'blank' cover in the switch spot on the dash, but these cars are old and one can wonder. Also, the bumper has the blanks on it as well. So can the vin decode if foglights were factory origial to the car? Is the woring original or was it all the same wiring , with foglight wiring, just for the option?

I have 14" Fochs currently on the car, that cam with the car. I am wondering if these fuchs came with the car on original purchase from the factory? I know this was an option.
