Two different issues being lumped together here:
1) one is called a California rolling stop. nothing wrong with that at all, except for the potential revenue generators.
2) The other is people RUNNING red lights or stop signs.
NOT same same.
I can understand getting all bunched over people running stop lights. Not slowing down much at all, just zipping thru
But NOT a California rolling stop. WTF difference would it make?
i could come to a complete stop on a red light or stop sign, count to three, and then proceed to turn right.
Or I could show down to one MPH, look both ways to make sure its safe, and then proceed.
Either way is the exact same, except for the wasted time.
It's allowed most of the time here simply out of common sense.
