The blue/yellow can have continuity to ground unless you unplug it from all the gauges. Your meter will just see it back-feeding through the all bulbs and the gauges to ground. Also, the Yellow/red wire has power from circuit 75 to the blower switch from the ignition switch vs circuit 15 from the blue/yellow wire so really no big deal if they cross. They are both power feed circuits from the ignition switch.
