At Galbraith Mt, dogs are a constant feature. Most are hounds of some sort, used to running through the woods all day and every one of them seem to be having a great time. Being a dog and running around the woods with your 'pack' is nirvana to them it seems.
I thought for kicks one day I would bring up one of my great danes but nixed that pretty quickly. They are lovable but big trail hogs with limited common sense and even more limited endurance.
I highly recommend doing it if you can.
