Hadn't thought of that, but it's sort of right. Except Smokey's "distinguished" look is all a facade  He's neurotic and acts like an emotionally disturbed teenager! He's more human than dog. Lately, on long car trips he gets extreme anxiety and we've had to give him doggie-Zanex. Here he is in his glassy-eyed happy place under some duffel bags ...

That pic of Smokey stoned is classic! Better doggie living through modern chemistry. Henry shakes like crazy at first when we strap him into his safety seat then head out in the car. We have even caught him sitting there and then when he notices one of us looking at him..... he starts with his shaking. It's funny to see but then he completely stops when we head home. We don't know his full story since he is our rescue Lump.
