519 Pre A Transmission # 3439 came out of a 1954 Coupe.
"The casting numbers; 16 12 13 and 29 12 13 indicate the halves were cast on 16th and 29th of December, first shift 1953. BBBC gearing.
Transmission has been completely rebuild by Reinhard Racing in Meadow Vista California. Case was cleaned, Tubes, and hoop have been Powder Coated. Per Mechanic (Reinhard Riedel @ Riedel Racing) all Gears, Ring & Pinion, Carrier and parts looked good.
All new parts were sourced from Carquip Inc (Tom Conway). Front and rear pinion shaft bearings.
New main shaft bearings near the intermediate plate
New fourth gear bearing cage
Four New syncro rings
New gasket sets
New rear axle bearings, axle seal kits" and Solid Boots
Mechanic available for consult.
Transmission is completely assembled with assembly oil/grease but not filled with
Oil so it can be shipped if required.
No Backing plates, Brakes or Drums.
Prefer local pick. Willing to strap to pallet and ship @ buyers expense
