OK, so a buddy of mine has a 993 rolling chassis that he's parting out. I was thinking about getting the 6 speed G50 from him to put in my 1975 chassis, but reading about the conversion work involved, i'm not sure I want to commit to that work. So I had this sick fantasy that maybe I can get the 993 rolling chassis with tranny from him and put my 3.3 turbo motor in it, avoid all the extra fabrication and create a 993 Clubsport or GT2 look hotrod. But then I have to worry about emissions right? Do you think it would be impossible to make a 3.3 turbo pass emissions in a 993 chassis? Maybe its not worth the hassle.
