Thanks Scott! I'll investigate this more later, but I'm stumped??? I run my 'droid lean and mean, don't allow updates, don't use extensions, and rarely visit other sites other than here and a handful of others....until two days ago....spoon shopping
. So when it started, I was handicapped....couldn't visit any site, except a couple, but I cleared all caches, most stuff is disabled, plenty of memory, etc. and by stumbling around, I finally disabled JavaScript after a day of Aw Snaps...and learned that's where my issue lies.
I see where the rollout of Chrome 58 started havoc on many platforms beginning May 2...
I'm on Chrome 42.0.2311.111
Maybe I've become infected...I dunno? Will pursue it more later if it doesn't automagically unbreak itself

I didn't know about the support forums until your post however....I'm a dinosaur, but will dig in later if I have too....meantime....No Java for me

edited: Pelican seems to be the only site JavaScript must be disabled for the pages to load....other sites I have to enable
JS for them to function....stumped????
