There was a team of Mexicans that replaced our roof. It was HOT and they worked HARD. You can tell they wanted to get it done and get on to the next job. The boss of the crew was there helping clean up and get the last bits done. As they were sweeping up the driveway and mining for nails in the yard with a magnet I offered beers to the boss and the guys still working. They all said thanks and finished up.
Same thing for the pit for my lift. The foreman was there helping sweep up and doing minor things and it was surprising to me since all he had done before was point and tell the crew what to do. After I was ready to go inside he handed me the bill and I figured out he wanted a check. I was happy to pay him. I was so happy I did not try to do the pit myself.
