Electric tech is rapidly advancing in bikes.
Got an electric bike 4 years ago= FUN!
goes 20 miles -without pedaling- @ full speed (20mph).
many more miles range when I 'assist' by pedaling.
Still have to put up with sneering road bike douches who
call out while I pass them up hills, "you're cheating" (all the time)
Hopefully that attitude will evolve in a few years.
Great commuter, hot days are a joy, instead of sweatfest.

Indeed I recall the Corbin. A business just adjacent to my bro's shop had one collecting dust and buried in a corner. Eventually was sold for pittance, recall it was $300. Under the dust, it was clean and complete machine.
Anyways, back to e-bikes / velo machines-
The vid of your full size folding e-bike seems most practical.
I recently picked up an older but never used recumbent two-wheeler for my wife. Pedal powered only, it currently has a Sachs 3 speed internal geared hub with 7 speed rear derailleur. On its maiden voyage, rode it approx. 12 miles in dirt path, gravel travel to hilly asphalt. Its not speedy but capable and surprisingly comfortable.
Plans are to add a minimalistic front hub motor kit 350 watt / LCD dash / trigger throttle, 36 volt li-on batt.'s. Nothing fancy, no-regenerative. The kit I'm considering will drive exclusive but more suited as pedal assist. I also want to keep the total weight at or under 35 lbs.. This is my first experience with e-bikes / pedal assist.
