I dont think most of us were making fun of electric supercharging, we were making fun of electric supercharging with a bathroom fan impeller driven by a 125w Motor.

i highly doubt the electrically driven compressor is for top end power, even Audi isnt that cray. Electric supercharging makes sense for low mass flow rates of air, great for filling in power while waiting for the main turbo to spool or for decreasing pumping losses while cruising down the highway at low load.

I wonder what voltage it runs at? I would think greater than 12 to prevent 100+ amp draws.
