Like everyone I hate the junk calls. I have lots of them recently that are some perky happy sounding chick saying I had stayed at one of their resorts and I will.... And I hang up.
I get the call that the warranty on my car is about to expire. I have wasted the time of a few of them. I sound real interested and start asking questions on what the warranty will cover and the cost of different options. They keep asking about my vehicle and mileage and I keep ignoring that and asking them questions. When they get insistent on knowing about my car I sound surprised they don't know about it since they had to know about it to know the warranty was about to expire. Then I ask which of my many cars they had were calling about?
The 86 El Camino with 350,000+ miles on it would be great to have back under warranty. The jerks always hang up.
