The uppers leak too. Mine did.
Yes, very expensive. And my experience is you need to replace them every time you pull them out.
They tear, and worse trap dirt in the groove which squeezes out during assembly, ruining the rocker bushing. Been there, done that.
But when they are new and installed, they work really well.
