What is it with kids and dirt? Jacob was helping shovel the dirt to level the entrance to the garden until the pile got to a certain size. Then both kids played in the dirt pile instead. Oh well, I was close to done for the day anyway.

Ditto, I only answer calls from people or businesses I know and want to deal with.
I think kids naturally love to play in dirt to improve their bodies' immunity to diseases. It must be an evolutionary traits passed down over the eons. Besides, dirt is cool.
