The IMS failure doesn't have a specific mileage when it can rear its ugly head. Set the car up for the long haul. (

which IMS fix did they do? They upgraded the part and the initial upgrade wasn't bullet proof. The later upgrade that is LN's big seller solves the core issue of lubrication by not having an internal seal so the lubrication is basically the supply of engine oil.
