My roomie on my new ranch digs takes in horses, dogs, poultry, sheep and goats from older residents. Cleans them up, rehabs them them and then adopts them out. That will be my mount until I transition to a bigger mare.
I haven't ridden in years. It has a gated stride and easier on my back. At 170lbs it can handle me....
She's 21 and I can buy her a beer......
