I agree with Glock triggers. One thing I hate about my G19. Also the stock sights suck. I don't even know why I bought it. Oh wait, yes I decided to use a Trijicon RMR and light. The only way I would consider doing a trigger mod, is perhaps a G17 trigger.
You are 100% correct with safety mechanisms with the striker fire guns.
