Sounds great but often would you actually use that performance?
And how well will these cars age? I know that doesn't matter to most buyers but I'd imagine they would become problematic as they age.
Recently I saw a high end late model Audi in a wrecking yard. It had an electrical issue that caused a fire in the dash board.
Only the dash and instruments were affected & yet it was cheaper to write it off than fix it. (It didn't run but the rest of the car looked new including the interior)
Why would Tesla's be any different to complex gas cars?
Yea yea we need to build better and better cars but they've become too complex IMO.
