Same thing happened to me, but 30 years after I did the drywall. Took that long for the screw to rust enough to lose the seal. Just above where it came through the horizontal 2x4s at the floor. Bought one of those vibrating cutting tools and carved some clearance around the pipe and used a Sharkbite. Still holding. Which reminds me, I still need to patch the access hole in the drywall behind the washer. Out of sight, out of mind.
