Several years back, the wife surprised me with a birthday trip to the Sandy Eggo Air and Space museum, including a very in depth behind the scenes tour. I'll never forget that trip. Uber cool!!! If I could only learn what the old school mechanics have forgotten on those old aircraft. They were working on a WW-1 era fighter. The engineering that went into the machine gun firing mechanism was fascinating. I was in sponge mode as they talked.
