This too. As pointed out, they can be crash cars in the hands of the young & unskilled. None of the status of the Porsche, to be sure. Ford sells lots of them because they are a good bang for the buck. Nothing more, nothing less.
Faster than most on the road, but slower than many. Huge aftermarket so you can turn one into a 1/4 mile monster or a corner carver that'll shock a new Porsche owner. Not a thrill ride but certainly not as boring as a Camry. Comfortable standard seats that even my 73 year old bones could stand a long drive in. (The Bulllitt got the leather seating used in the GT500 of the same year, so a bit different than the GT seats..more lumbar and side support.)
Not a "special" car by any means. Won't likely become collectable. I vary emotionally between buyer's remorse and an appreciation for how dead reliable it's been. So, a car that kinda fits me at this point in my life.
