We rammed around on our Stingrays all day, every day dawn 'till dusk except for when we were starving to death and PB&J's beckoned or it was dinnertime. Then, right back out.
The porch light being on was the signal to come home, Now! When the streetlights came on it was the end of the day. Not once ever did we fear for anything, ever. Gangs of kids roaming the
neighborhood. On foot, cuts through people's yards (with total disregard to fences) was the norm.
Oh, the days of summer!
