This cat has lived on my property since she was a kitten, almost 8 years now. I got her fixed and all her shots, and have had to patch her up a couple of times before. She didn't show up for chow for a couple of days, and when I did find her, she was kind of scraggly looking and very skittish and head-shy. She has a series of wounds in front of and under/behind her ears, almost like abrasions. What's interesting is the wounds appear to be symmetrical, which is odd (or even, depending on how you look at it). I tried to clean them up but she was having no part of that. I've been giving her ClavaMox for 3 days now. She's normally very social, but she's been hiding in the back yard, so I set her up with food and water out there. She's eating voraciously now, which is a good thing.
I have no idea what she got into; I asked her, but she refuses to tell me.
