102% relative humidity yer ass
I called a TV weatherman when I lived in Houston. He was talking about 102% humidity. So I call down there, nice young lady puts me on hold. I guess I should not be surprised, they just read the teleprompter, what else is he to going to do when he is not in front of a camera? He actually got on the phone and explained it to me. I was thinking 100% was the top of the scale, but it is relative humidity, there is an unfortunate confluence of temperature, barometric pressure and dew point
102% is just wrong. 100* and 102% humidity is evil.
Dry heat is less oppressive than wet for sure, especially if you are sitting in the shade. If it is a buck fifteen, don't tell me about dry heat. Standing around an a big slab of asphalt when it is hot is brutal. I wonder how Stockton will be in a couple weeks? Thank goodness we get that delta breeze, so it cools off at night.
