Was in Montreal. In a rental with NY plates.
Going a tad faster than they allow.
Pop up cop zapped me (overpass) and I was pulled over down the road by his buddy.
Got the usual license and registration deal.
Pulled out my uk license.
Cop took one look and said "you aren't going to pay a ticket, are you".
"Nope".
"Slow the f. Down."
And that was that.
Still makes me smile...
GF at the time - in the passenger seat - was flabbergasted.
So, frankly, was I. But I didn't let on...
