I have no idea, nor do you, if he has been blackballed.
Owners make risk management decisions with player behavior(s) every day. They and the league have some of the most sophisticated marketing and polling people in the world.
I have no issue with Kap...but if my business success relied on public image, team dynamics and absence of distractions I am not hiring Kap. However if Kap's production was better, and the risk reward penciled out, he'd have a job.
That is the real world.
