There is no paint off the body but there is a clear mark and paint off on the hinge. It is about 1 inch long and about 0.2 inch wide. The hinge contacts when open and for part of its travel downward.
Because I was concerned with misalignment of the decklid and having it close and become stuck, I did not close the decklid. Since I am in the middle of a major project on the engine, I decided to take the decklid off the car and post here to be prepared when its time to put it back. If we need this data, I can remove the lock plunger and remount it.
