Eddie Bello is your guy. He used to drag race a air cooled 964 turbo that was in the 1100HP range, and was pulling the front tires off the ground.
The problem is, what you are wanting to do, you have everything against you, and only one thing going for you.

traction control
liquid cooling
better flowing heads
awd
advanced engine management
tire size
Dont get me wrong, I would choose an older 911 or 930 ANYDAY over a newer P-car, but the new ones get the job done, and they do it very well.
