Enhancements over the regular turbo included a BHP bump to 250, upgraded Brembo 4-piston calipers borrowed from the 928 S4, suspension upgrades, a LSD, and a few other unique turbo S features. At the time, it was one of the top 5 fastest production cars on the market…only the Porsche 928 S4, Lamborghini Countach, and Ferrari’s GTO & Testarossa were quicker. Values of the 944 turbo have steadily increased over the last few years, with the turbo S commanding sometimes 100%+ premium over a similar 951.
