I'm much more concerned about overheating at idle in traffic than I am with overheating at wide open throttle, but my car never sees a track anymore.
My car has a 915 and a '95 3.6 and they knocked a bit of extra space in the interior to make room above it. I'm not sure how the G50 and varioram plumbing will affect that, but another thing to be aware of.

I ran the stock passenger side Carrera oil cooler with fan for a while and it was fine 95% of the time on the street. Oil temps would creep up in heavy traffic when it was 85+ degrees outside.
The varioram intake fits in my '87, but it's toight like a toiger. Swapping out the throttle cable required a friend with pipe cleaner type arms.
