For most of my bachelor life my commute was just under one mile. One day when school was out and it was a federal holiday like presidents day or something when banks and the post office are closed I decided to set a new record short time for my morning commute. Half the drive was in my neighborhood.
From key insert to key removal was 55 seconds.
Now I did prepare some. The night before I backing into the garage so I could just go. I hit the key and I will admit I was maybe a little in excess of the speed limit. This was likely 35 years ago and I was not as smart as I am now.
And the statute of limitations has run out. I hit redline in the parking lot nailed the brakes hard and stuck it perfectly into my parking spot.
