Well after two days of taking out the engine, fixing bits, getting the Flywheel machined this morning, putting in a new sound insulation, putting the flywheel on, and getting ready to put the new pressure plate on and noticed this!!!!!!!!

The outer cardboard shipping box had no marks, but the inner Saks kit box had a small hole that lined up with the dent, *ark! I bought this from our benefactor, and I have sent them a query.
Being an aluminium pressure plate it was soft enough to bend, and the leading surface of the pressure plate has a 1.5mm slant to one side. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!
Not happy, I have the car sitting on the hoist at a mate's shop, and need to go buy another pressure plate here in Oz to get it off the hoist on Monday.
