The treehouse will receive some upgrades this summer.

Bought a $25 window AC unit, going to frame that into one of the walls.

Already have an oil radiator heater, fan, mini-fridge, lights, comfy armchair, hammock.

Also going to put shake shingles on the exterior. Thinking of buying an electric brad nailer or stapler to help - recommendations?

Wife wants me to insulate and drywall the interior, but I'm resisting - seems it won't feel like a treehouse anymore.

Sleeping loft upstairs has problems with critters getting in. I've nailed aluminum sheeting and metal mesh screens to various places. But to completely stop critters - mainly don't like the raccoons - I'd need to either make doors for the openings, or cover with mesh. Not sure I like either. Anyone have luck with electronic buzzers like people use to keep pets off couches?
