Unfortunately the only two choices my mechanic gave me were 1) buy a new engine from porsche, or 2) buy a used engine. Both options are on the expensive side, particularly because I had spent about 10K in 2016 in a lot of preventive work to avoid a catastrophic failure.
Are you aware of other options? I'm open to any options that get my car on the road again at a 'reasonable' cost.
