Yo Bugs......thanks for asking and btw, LOVE the above pics of a playful Sir Henry!
FWIW, when I first brought Billabong home in 2006 from the kill shelter and what I have come to believe was a very rough start in life, her personality was one of a puppy who never learned to play - or trust humans - or trust other dogs - or even know how to sit. It took a few years for her to learn how to both trust and to learn how to play and enjoy herself. The process took quite a while but along the way for me it was heart warming to see little glimpses of her progress here and there. I'll never forget seeing her sit on the floor for the first time. It was quite a moment for us.
So - may you and Sir Henry continue down that same path with the same results.
Winkipop unfortunately had a bad reaction to an ivermectin med I gave her last Saturday and she spent a few days with no appetite and very lethargic. The good news is she finally turned around yesterday and is practically back to normal. I had given her liquid nourishment with a syringe through the side of her mouth. Staying up a few nights worrying. She had never had that happen before and Billabong had the same med and was just fine. New one on me but she'll be getting a blood work and full chemistry profile when my vet gets back to town in a week just to make sure she'll be OK. Scared the crap out of me.
Her appetite is back and better than ever and her mobility about 90% back to normal so happy to report that.
Whew!
Here's the 2 little beggars loitering at the kitchen door checking out the food prospects...lol....
