I work out just about everyday which includes some walking.
I did not do this yesterday and my hips are tight and hurt from lack of blood flow.
Sitting is not good for you, sitting for long periods is even worse.
There was a field reporter scrunched up in an armored vehicle during the Attack on Iraq. He died simply because he wasn't able to move around for long periods of time, or at least this contributed to his death they later said.
