I read that they're on the same private jet as they scoot from city to city acting out their show.
I can just see them discussing and agreeing upon some script.

It strikes me that when CM agreed to the Q's rules, he basically conceded any outcome in his favor. Thus, it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$ and nothing else.
The rest just may be giving the paying sucker a little entertainment.
