Well, that's not true.. It's not "few"
the Entire European Union has it
Which is a bunch of countries, and there are a good number of other countries that have the right to free speech in their constitution.
In any case it's not an absolute right either in the US.
You cannot stand outside the white house, and say out loud that the president has to die.
(shout out to the boys at the NSA!)
You'll be locked up.
You cannot go on public television and say that your neigbour is a c*ck-su*cker
You'll be bleeped away.
You cannot as a TV show host go on a live superbowl broadcast, and start cussing and swearing. you'll be bleepd out, taken off hte air, and Fines will be issued.
You cannot say just anything about anybody, or anything about what a company does or did., you'll be sued for libel or slander.
And end up paying punitive damages if what you said caused damage.
The US is not the country with the most freedom of speech. You can forget about that
10 Countries with the Most Freedom of Speech
Which Country has Most Freedom of Speech?
And not the country that tops the human freedom index
Not even Top 5.
Y'all are doing quite well, that's true, But this USA #1 mentality is a bit overrated.
Not when the US is the most incarcerated country in the word , well, the Sechelles are #1, but let's face it, Not a real country compared to the US now is it.. it's a tiny little banana republic. You guys have more people in prison then they have inhabitants.
