DWs are the only appliance I seem to have problems with grrr, and always buy the extended warranty. Haha, I pulled one out of a rental a month ago to see if I could fix it myself and noticed written across the top in my own handwriting "5 year warranty, finishes ...." I was overjoyed to find I had two weeks left.
