The first one I ever saw in person was at a small airshow/fly-in at our local county-owned public-use airport.

It was parked near a coupla WWII fighters and the difference in size (on the ground, anyway) was striking.
Not quite so evident in this pic, but you may be able to get a little perspective... and the Corsair is a little closer to the camera...
