Mini Cooper 2004 S, 68,000 miles. I had the clutch replaced two weeks ago and new plate and disc, release bearing, rear oil seal, release lever, flywheel, slave cylinder, front axle shaft and front center balljoint. Two weeks later i'm stopped at a light and when I start to go I can freely enter all gears but can't engage with any of them. The transmission cables popped off at the transmission connection and are now being replaced. I'm just curious, I want to know if the cables popping off so soon after all the above work could be related to the work that was done? I am getting a price break on labor but i'm still paying $600 for this. Thank you in advance for your input.
