Of course the value of parts is greater than the complete car will sell for. Isn't that always the case?

Here is a car that very likely has the original engine, orignal transmission, original clutch?, original suspension bushings, etc. OP mentions nothing in the way of big money maintenance that often has been done or needs doing at the age/mileage of the car. We know based on his honest description that the tub needs straightening and there is a broken head stud, and cam that shows pitting.

The engine is likely to hoover up $10k immediately. Could be $20k, but $10k is realistic. Other items that probably require attention can easily take up another $5-$10k. So in my opinion a buyer of this car needs to budget for $15-$30k to properly address the needs of this car. When you're done with that, you still don't have a proper 930 because of the body mods and missing Fuchs wheels.

In perfect running condition and documented recent maintenance what's this car worth? Not as much as a good driver 930.
